Color changes for the animation

After several rendershots from my automotive Bugattie Chiron scene, i tried several emission looks. tweaking the color and the intensity i finaly came out with this render. I think this variation is quiet different than the other variation before. You can check the previous version here: “another-shot-directly-without-filter“. I think the new variation gives us a lot more details, which you can see mostly in the middle of the rim. Also the more different colors of each single chiron piece is more present than before. I will render out a short animation of a camera move and will show you the result hopefully this week. Until than stay tuned and do not forget to subscribe to my social channels. neo

Another shot directly without filter

I am honestly amazed, what nowerdays render like my octane render are able to produce, when you just play with 3 things. Specular Light Colour Like i mentioned in my older article.”Always filter?” this setup is completly without any lights than the emission neon lights from the surrounding logos. For the specular i used the high polish black material on the “bugatti chiron” which let the light bounce several times and give this interesting mirror effect of the logos. I also decided to add another color, which is a kind of opposite of the harmoniously play between this black, neon white and blueish. As you can see i decided to make the brake disc in this high glossy red. This gives an effect of catching the eye for the viewers. And still no filter usage at all. Always Filter? decide for yourself!

When i started with 3D there was this one rule which always came up to me. “Never use the pic directly out of your render engine! Always use a filter” Sure filters do their job and of course for more than 90% i use them aswell. But sometimes you just click render and then…. boom! You get this flair of the colours and the lights… the purity of a non filtered rendershot and guess what… You know this is enough. Every bit of a changing filter is too much. So i enclose this frame of my new “Bugattie” animation in this post. Take a look at it and decide for yourself if this needs any filter or not. Just leave a comment!   cheers neo3d
