building the right atmosphere

It is a big point when it comes to do your piece of work in order to develope a special atmosphere. In the following project my goal was to create a kind of atmosphere including “mysticism, fear, curiosity, crime” to put it in a nutshell a place you do not want to hang arround at a time about midnight. I worked a lot with fog and light. Everything was kind of dirty and disgusting except this shiny car in the focus of the scene.He is the opposite in the scene and catches a lot of light to reflect it in order to build up its own kind of atmosphere which was made in kind of bluish style. what is important for me ?

Never stop learning and never stand stil! This is the most important fact for myself and i think this is also the key issue beiing an artist, who does his work not only for fun but for his living. I tried to put myself in a kind of knowledge ranking to give you a kind of idea if i might be the right person for your project. It is only a small note to show you which techniques i prefer in my work and which software are my kind of livingroom. If you have a special question, feel free to contact me.

who am i ?

I am Andreas aka neo3d. Being a 3d Artist means passion to me. Creating your own fantasy and being able to build other imaginations either for myself or my customers are the force which keeps me learning techniques und workflows in 3d Art. Constantly updating the own level of knowledge is the most important fact for myself. Trainings and courses concerning new techniques and workflows are the most constant parameter in the last 10 years of me working in the world of 3D. Welcome to my 3D Artist site

Hi and a warm welcome to my website neo3d. First of all i would like to explain to you, how it comes me calling myself neo. In the year 2016 i took the animation fundamentals training course from David Brodeur at the guys from greyscalegorilla in chicago. David Brodeur is an award winning Creative Director, Animation Professor and Designer. I am proud still staying in touch with him since these days. I learnt a lot about Walt Disney and his animation fundamentals, which still are the holy bible for an animation artist. Also Nick Campbell from GSG and all the mates from GSG Connect still are present in my every day slack living room. Now you asking what this has to do with my name “neo”?
